Expert Profile: John Souerbry

Expertise:  Considering leaving real estate to your heirs or have you inherited real property? I'm a real estate broker/consultant specializing in real estate investment and estates. Each year billions of dollars are needlessly lost when real estate transfers take place through estates. Preparation involves not only your will and trust, but also the condition of the property itself, financing and management. I can answer questions regarding these issues, whether you are leaving or receiving estate property.

Experience in the area
I have worked with estates valued between $500,000 and $60,000,000 as part of the estate management team, which includes the owner and/or heirs to the estate, estate attorneys and tax professionals. The primary goal is always to preserve wealth while maximizing the value of inherited real estate. We help with inventory, valuation, financing, mangement, and disposition of the inherited property. We also support attorneys, trustees, and executors with estate management services during probate.

National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Silicon Valley Association of Realtors
