Expertise

I can answer questions for people that suffer with Sciatica, Chronic Low back pain, spinal stenosis, herniated disc and bulging discs. I can let them know about the best spinal decompression machine to use for their condition. If a patient is currently undergoing spinal decompression treatment and they have questions regarding the treatment protocol I can give my insight. I can answer questions regarding possible contra-indications to spinal decompression. If a patient was told that they need a back surgery because they have a herniated disc I can point them to the current research about how successful non surgical methods can be. I can't diagnosis patients without a proper exam and review of medical records but I can give them information and insight on how spinal decompression may benefit them.

2009-10-08 Disc sequestration:

Disc sequestration is one of the worst time of disc herniations to have, you are doing the right thing by strengthening the core muscles. If symptoms do not get better i would get a MRI to see if disc

2009-09-17 Decompression For Sports Injury:

I don't think that if an activity makes your condition worse that you should continue the activity. Spinal decompression can be very effective in reducing your symptoms. I would seek out a spinal decompression

2009-07-05 is decompression appropriate for a large L5-S1 central herniation?:

If I had to pick my favorite type of disc herniation to treat it would be the central disc herniation. I primarily use the DRX 9000 spinal decompression system in my Manhattan Herniated disc treatment

2009-06-15 After Surgery my back still hurts.:

Have you heard of "failed back surgery syndrome" or FBS? Back surgery for herniated disc has a pretty high failure rate. According to the American Pain Society they do not recommend surgical intervention

2009-03-02 decompression contraindications:

Spinal decompression therapy is usually not recommended for pregnant women, or patients who have severe osteoporosis, severe obesity or severe nerve damage. Every patient is evaluated on an individual
