Ask A Question

I can answer questions about the Twilight Saga books and movies, The Host books and movies, her other productions, and to an extent, some information about Stephenie Meyer herself. To an extent, I can answer questions about the stars of the Twilight films. I am also very aware of the meaning and impact of Meyer's writings and films, as well as the criticism that is levied at her and her work. I cannot provide contact information for Stephenie or for the cast and crew of her films, nor can I pass along messages to them.

What do you like about this subject?

There are lots of reasons that I enjoy the stories that Stephenie Meyer has written. But mostly, I have gained a lot of insights about life from them. Why I could write an entire book about it! Which is why I did just that.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I have a few more books on the way, about Stephenie Meyer's writings, and other popular fiction and films. I am especially looking forward to the sequels and films for "The Host." And, of course, The Book Which Shall Not Be Named, "Midnight Sun."

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

The main reason that people do -- or don't -- like a story is its theme. The meaning of the story. Whether its a book, film, TV episode, myth, etc. -- if you don't agree with the theme, then you won't be able to enjoy the story. Perhaps that sounds a little philosophical, but that's how people are. Including you. So learning what themes appeal to you is a great way to learn more about yourself.
