I've been working in the field of special needs ministry for over 10-years. I have provided consultation with communities of faith on how to create an appropriate classroom that meets the social, behavorial, sensory, and academic needs of children with special needs. Currently, I'm the Director of Special Needs at First Baptist Orlando, a 14,000 member church. We have 63 children and adults with special needs that we serve in our ministry and do everything from providing food and transportation to fellowship and religious education. Our special needs ministry is the teaching model for Florida Baptist churches.
