I can answer questions about applied training design, syllabi design, and curricula development. I can answer questions regarding the design of academic, competency, and performance based training programs (including training and development activities). This includes (but is not limited to) design, development, implementation, maintenance, records, evaluations, assessments, learning and instructional styles and approaches, needs analyses, audience analyses, statutory compliance, ethical compliance, accreditation, standardization, and program individualization.
I have been engaged in the training design practice since 2000, and have been designing training programs for my employer since 2009. I have research in academic advising and have assisted undergraduate students in customizing curricula in interdiciplinary programs of sutdy. I have continuing education in training design, instructional design, human resources management, and business management.
Completed various continuing education programs in training design, instructional design, human resources management, training and development, and business management. I have completed in-service supervisor, leadership and manangement programs in various professions including (but not limited to) Developmental Disabilities, Contract Security, Law Enforcement, and Retail and Food Service Management.
Training has it's own processes. While some designers may choose to specialize in and restrict their designing activities to professions and industries that they've acquired expertise in; others may accept all requests. Trainers that accept design requests outside of their area of expertise have backgrounds in education, instructional design, or training and development.
