I can answer almost anything about the band--particularly about Neil Finn. I have constructed a time-line that outlines every important event throughout Split Enz / Crowded House / Finn brothers history. I know the lyrics to virtually every song recorded by Split Enz or either of the Finn brothers. I have met the Finn brothers more than once, as well as Paul Hester, Mark Hart, and Nick Seymour. I lived in Australia close to where Crowded House memmbers formerly lived.
I am a musician and studied and played their music. I have met the band on more than one occasion. I have constructed a time line, discography, and catalog of lyrics for everything this band has ever done.
CH fan club, Tim Finn fan club
I adore this band and virtually every song they've ever written. I love discussing their music with other fans.
The band was originally named "The Mullanes" after Neil's middle name.
Paul Hester, the original drummer for Crowded House and former member of Split Enz, died on 27th March, 2005 at the age of 46.

Hi, Lee- It's always hard to find specific info about sales figures on albums. I did research this for you and, not surprisingly, came up empty handed. The best I can offer you is the chart rating
Hi, Richard- That is a really tough question... I am having trouble finding tablature out there for "Things" because it wasn't a popular song. I found a few posts in the Frenz of the Enz forum archives
Hi, Star- The song is called "Our Day" and it's on the Conflicting Emotions album (1983). You can easily find the album on Amazon.com or even on-line auctions like e-bay. Not sure what country you
Hi, Dzung- I have tried to figure that one out before, but to no avail. I can make out a phrase here and there (like "in your heart" and "live your life"), but I can't make out most of it. I haven't
Hi, Ant- Well, something to remember about Neil Finn is that he is not one of those writers who seeks deep and introspective meaning in every song he puts out. Often his songs come from something very
