Hi, Yup, I have that poster as well, I didn't think it was all that rare, but looking for it online was seemingly more difficult than I thought. I would suggest putting a post on some of the cure sites
I think he writes close to his heart which he wears on his sleeve. His moods reflect the tone of his songs, obviously this was a darker time of life with much contemplation. I do not know whom he sings
HI, First, I don't think you can pick apart a lyric for meaning, thing you need to look at the whole song. I would think that phrase he is referring to mushrooms. But overall, I think the song is about

This is a very different album,, same with Pornography, as Robert says done in the darker time of his life accompanied by drugs. Both songs have been inspired by: BirdMad Girl - 'Love in the Asylum'
