Experience in the area

I have 20+yrs of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the software industry. Over the last decade I have delivered more than 200+ Software Projects based on real life SDLC method[s]. As a Business Systems Analyst I perform excellent Bidirectional Traceability of Requirements post Elicitation[s], to verify and validate the requirements that are current to the Design, Code and Tests to help trace any requirement back to its source. My practise has helped bring confidence to the Stakeholders and the Team assuring that we are building the product right. I deliver my projects ON TIME & within Budget with a Happy Development Team: Self-Starter (I take the initiative to get dropped off on a project with specific deadlines, perform self-assessments with little to know information, considerable man of ambiguity and to bring a project to completion). Independent performer (I work with little or no supervision, absolutely no micromanagement required) Interactive acumen (I can communicate with different types of People from different types of Departments and am Stakeholder friendly), getting ideas across by working on non-different tangents in order to communicate relevant information in a precise & stakeholder friendly manner. Elicitations Expert (Interpret complex business needs and translate them into system requirements. Create professional BRS/SRS documents which can also support the Q/A teams for Testing). Stakeholder friendly (I communicate in a manner that is diplomatic, friendly and goal driven). Engaging and Winning Attitude (Conflict resolution, pull people into the project without resistance to complete a certain aspect of a project) Handling setbacks (Learning from contributions made on my previous projects) Efficient & Effective (Design an easy to follow Traceability matrix, which can be used as a foundational guidelines for every engineer who is a part of the team along with the Stakeholder[s]).

What do you like about this subject?

This is an infinite Domain which temporarily limits you to get started in an organized method, then as the journey proceeds you learn how your organized methods which you implemented earlier pay off.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I thrive to learn the current practises and methods followed in different industries and achieve knowledge in un-explored Domains where I can help stakeholders understand non-technical language in simple English.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

As the morale of the fable "The Hare and the Tortoise" goes "Slow and Steady Wins the Race". Similarly if you understand correctly, you plan correctly and you accomplish correctly "Slowly and Steadily".

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Since the last few years, stakeholders and industry professionals have realized that the role of a "Business Systems Analyst" is Overshadowing the role of a "Project Manager". In-spite of both having two different work profiles they seem to be so similar.
