Exensive knowledge and insight on this historic band; I saw 209 Dead concerts between 1977 and 1995 in 23 different states plus some foreign countries. Started collecting tapes in mid seventies, and saw Jerry Garcia Band about 50 times between 1977 and 1994 also. Ask away.

Very good question. The only tune Jerry is credited as writing both the words and music is Cream Puff War, on the Grateful Dead's first album (1967). I think he played around and made changes here and

The show if central park you heard was most likely June 22, 1969. They also played Central Park on June 8, 1967 and May 5, 1968 but tapes dont seem to exist for those shows. Do a google search for: Grateful
I do not know of a specific place where you can definitely find. Ebay usually has a lot and i see they have one frmo the shows in 1993 but not 1994. best bet is to search through google to find concert
