Expert Profile: Cindy P

Expertise:  Stones fan for 29 years, particularly knowledgeable on the personal histories, background, and music of the Rolling Stones. I have traveled extensively, visiting and photographing many famous Stones places in Europe and the States, which are featured on my website, "The Rolling Stones History Tour". I have a large database of web resources about the Stones, along with over 60 books on the Rolling Stones. If I don`t know the answer I will try to direct you to someone who does. Over 25 years of collecting, reading, concert-going, studying, traveling and listening.
The Rolling Stones have consumed my time, energy, and pocketbook for nearly 30 years. And seeing them on their home turf in June 1999 was a dream come true!

What do you like about this subject?  It's quite simple: The Rolling Stones are the greatest rock -n- roll band in the world. They have given us an incredible amount and variety of great music that stands the test of time. I love the fact that they thumb their noses at the critics and keep plugging away. I also feel a lot of pride when new fans "discover" the Stones.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I'm always hoping for just "one more tour"! And, like any other good fan, I'd love to meet them someday. Lastly, I'd like to know, once and for all, the REAL story behind Brian Jones' death.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Almost 40 years later, the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Brian Jones continues to provoke discussion among fans. Also, Mick Jagger's sexuality has been the subject of much debate since just about the beginning of his career.
