Ok thanks! I stick with my original value. If they were single headed I would have changed my mind. Also they are nice sizes and not deep toms, so still played in today's music style. The Paiste's
I did not ask, are the rack toms double headed? Also, I just looked at a 1982 Yamaha Japanese catalog (can't read it) in that catalog they show a 3 up and two down combination like yours. It is hard
Can you take a look at this catalog page. Are all of the sizes listed here: http://vintagedrumguide.com/yamaha_catalogs_drum_sets_1983.htm If the set is not cataloged then it could have been special
If re-conditioning means re-plating then I would say no. Usually it is not worth it unless you have a connection in the business that can do it cheaply. The drum itself is not rare so it would not
