Keyboard percussion *ONLY*: Marimba, Vibraphone, Chimes, Bells, etc. Please note that my specialty in this section is in keyboard playing as it pertains to keyboard percussion, such as marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel, etc. - *NOT PIANO OR ORGAN*. Thank you! I have 2 bachelors degrees, a masters, and am completing my doctorate - all in music. Training and experience includes: education, performance, music composition, theory, electro-acoustics, studio and sound recording, multiple styles of music, music software, practice/rehearsing, and more. Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  To appreciate something you must first understand it. If a style of music has not yet lost grasp of your interest or preference, try getting a deeper understanding of its meaning and purpose. This may find you with the freedom to appreciate and enjoy more styles of music than you thought was possible.
What do you like about this subject?  Music is an exciting part of our lives. It's that simple.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I plan on continuing my education for the rest of my life through various sources.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Where would we be without music?
