Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: I think like any war and any soldiers there many untruths in what we read. Recently a major study here in Virginia found that blacks were not treated as badly as believed. There are many things, Jackson did not eat lemons or run around with his arm in the air, Chamberlin was not the hero he made himself out to be.

What do you like about this subject? Before many of you were born Virginia's fourth grade had a whole year of the War. I was bitten and it has stayed with me. The singlest most written about subject in the world besides the Bible.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? I live the war every minute of every day having been approached by several writers who think I am reincarnated; I have always been afraid to let them see as I would be Grant's horse butt or something worse.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject The South should have be allowed to leave the Union!
