Expertise: My primary educational and practical experience is in American Civil War History and the history of the United States from 1860 through the 20th Century. I have extensive knowledge of British Social and Military History, particulary regarding the peroid of the Second World War. Have a solid background in Russian Military and Social History from the beginning of the Romanov dynasty thru the Soviet Era and in German History from the Unification in 1866 through the current era. I have also read almost everything written by and about Winston Churchill, accordingly, I can provide definitive responses on most aspects of his life, writing and political career.
Experience in the area While in college participated in a project, under the auspices of the Duke of Edinburgh, which documented every member of the Royal Navy from its inception through the present day. Participated in exercises to reenact military excercises from the pre-Napoleonic era through the present day. Visited and experienced reenactments at most American Civil War battlefields. Attended roundtables and lecture series sponsored by Yale University and chaired by Sir Michael Howard covering every aspect of World War II from Economic through Military issues.
