What do you like about this subject?  The study of History satisfies an intellectual curiosity about who we are and, more importantly, how we arrived here. It opens an exciting world of speculation on the possibilities open to humanity based upon previous achievements and failures, allowing us to learn from our mistakes, profit from our accomplishments, and map our future.
