Something controversial or provocative about this subject

NEVER purchase carousel items online. The vast majority of carousel figures promoted on online auctions as "authentic" are actually cheap machine carved contemporary pieces imported from the Philippines, Taiwan and other areas. Just because they look old and used, doesn't mean they are! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Buy from a reputable dealer ONLY!
