What do you like about this subject?  I love making B&W pictures! The challenge of taking a good picture, the challenge of successfully developing the film and making the print, and the reward of producing something beautiful or thought-provoking as a result.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  There is a big difference between 35mm and medium format (6x6 and 6x7) negatives. The increase in image quality with larger negatives can be startling.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  There is a big difference between using an SLR and using a rangefinder type camera such as the Leica IIIC or Leica M3. You can get incredible pictures from a rangefinder if you take the time to learn to use one.
