I now shoot digital exclusively and process in Photoshop CS3.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject Whether or not to provide the custom processed photo-quality digital files to customers is controversial. I do it. I don't mind charging extra. Your photo quality wedding images on DVDs is what ALL brides would really like to have. Albums, wall portraits etc., are reproductions of your work which brides should have the option to acquire from you or elsewhere.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: A portrait/wedding photographer with a home-based studio who is extremely talented, business smart and willing to WORK HARD can EARN well above average income.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? More ways to acquire new customers at the least cost. Currently this is BEST achieved by offering GREAT photography which is NOT over-priced and showing it at the biggest Bridal Shows to HUNDREDS of brides READY TO BUY and on a well coded for search engine website. All other strategies probably best used to compliment this main strategy.

What do you like about this subject? I simply enjoy creating beautiful photographic images which meet the needs of my clients and which I believe will be enjoyed for many years.
