Something controversial or provocative about this subject  As a public service, I highly recommend to anyone with a fuel burning appliance of any type, cook stove, heater, logs, etc. to install a carbon monoxide detector. This is a low cost item considering the benefits. Also be sure to check on the detector installed, many lose their ability to detect carbon monoxide after one year and must be replaced. Thanks.
