Noris, The Trane is rated up to 3.5 ton and a larger unit physically, the Carrier is rated at 3 ton and is the smaller one .I would go with the Carrier, as you have a little more room for the serviceman
Anna, Improper drain trap, not having secondary drain line hooked up, air handler not level both ways,water from indoor coil being pulled off coil and missing drain pan, you may just simply need to
James, Find the blower fan relay and remove one one of the motor leads if motor stops chances are it's you fan relay contacts welded shut, also look at the wiring diagram and find a 24 volt fan relay
Tom, You can google your unit ,you may find a troubleshooting guide ,if your furnace is not real old.As far as checking your limits, some are manually resettable some are not, they close automatically
Tom, If the pilot comes on ,the next step would be the flame sensor ,senses the flame and signals the main gas valve to open. So to me possible your flame sensor is bad, or your pilot is weak, and not
