Ask A Question

Expertise

I can answer questions about raising and showing Jersey Wooly rabbits. I can also answer most questions concerning color genetics of rabbits.

Experience in the area

I have raised rabbits for several years. For the past two years I have concentrated mostly on my Jersey Wooly rabbits which are similar to the angora breeds. I have several champions to my credit and am working to help develop some new colors.

Education/Credentials

For the past two years I have been researching the genetic color code for rabbits. Though I still have much to learn I feel that I might be able to help others with the basic knowledge of color inheritance.

Hi Nathan. Your doe is not to old to breed. However it might be just a bit hard to get her bred. Fat gathers around the female organs as the doe begins to age. This makes conception a bit more difficult
