Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Reptiles make very interesting pets and do not spread disease with proper hand washing and good hygiene
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  It is illegal in many states in the U.S. to collect wild reptiles without a permit Bringing wild reptiles into a captive environment leads to stress and can elevate their internal parasitic load while weakening their immune systems They often refuse to eat and die very quickly
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I constantly strive to learn more about the different types of reptiles that I keep by caring for them and I read reptile forums that are made up of leading breeders and experts in their field
What do you like about this subject?  I think that reptiles are fascinating animals
