....try cutting it back an inch, this may stimulate new and stronger growth; once it has set a crown of 4-6 leaves, you can transfer it to a small container. Try "Papaya", dry the seeds for several days
Julia, I am going to change my advice slightly here, for I just realized that we are dealing with a much smaller fig, I would build a wire enclosure around it, (wire hangers will do..)wrap it with black

Hi Sandra, you may have potted it up too soon, but without more info, like how long it grew in water before the transition to soil, and if you changed the water daily etc. it is hard for me to determine
It will naturally go dormant as the temps drop, but below 15 degrees will freeze, so take measures to prevent the container from freezing (burlap or submerge the entire container in a larger container
