I have an academic background in linguistics. I translate and edit. I teach English. But I seem to be better at imaginative and creative thinking than logic and reason.
Intelligent and sensitive people who are interested in gathering more information on alternative options in medicine and nutrition, which may lead to emotional, physical or spiritual healing. I have been unable to help people with weight issues lose specific amounts of weight within specific amounts of time - since this does not fall within my holistic aims.
The body can be made into a temple or debased into a squat. The luxury and freedom of choice gives you a wide range of self-control, but can also very easily lead you astray and corrupt your purer nature. Our physical body helps us to discover what is temporary and worthless and everlasting and precious. In fact we eat to nourish our souls.
We can only know what we love. Eating and knowing are closely related: to savour is to know. I aspire to show nutritional awareness is a stepping stone to a higher consciousness available to all people.
The dynamics of health and disease test our endurance and patience. To opt for a healthy life-style is to take responsibility for yourself. It cultivates independence, creative thinking and true inner freedom. You eat to live and you cannot eat your way to Heaven, but a diet ought to be a way of life. You can learn to use the physical as a monitor of spiritual progress.
Food is not meant to feed us up, but nourish our soul. Not food but its life-giving properties sustain us. By being the best you can be you become a better soul. Every bite and breath you take consolidates your potential. Imperfections are paths that we can take to teach us how to become “better”. We can only heal ourselves, but we can offer relief and comfort to others.
