I can and would be honored to help answer any questions related to the Lake Chapala & Ajijic area. My expertise is in vehicles, travel and real estate. I am one of the founding members or a popular real estate and area informational guide for Lake Chapala Mexico. We are constantly adding content that helps users find the right information about the area. I am one of 4 writers who is contributing immensely to Lake Chapala and its surrounding areas. We recently produced and uploaded one of the best videos done on lake Chapala so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZviW6DzSWQ I cannot answer questions in regards to political matters or health care in Mexico. These topics are to immense to cover and I am not knowledgeable in the medical field.
Experience in the area
I was born in Chihuahua and raised in the Lake Chapala area since I was 12 years old. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. Have 4 wonderful children and am happily married in upper Ajijic. I am passionate about my town and where I live and have extensive experience in all aspects concerning Ajijic & Lake Chapala Went to the University of Guadalajara, which is Mexico's second largest city located only 45 minutes from Lake Chapala. I majored in International Business and have allot of experience in immigration matters due to my internship at a local Legal & Immigration Office in Ajijic Allexperts.com has been a hub for many people looking for information on Mexico and Chapala. I have found great information here and want to contribute as much as I can in return. I hope you will consider my application to become a volunteer.

I am not sure about the land stability but have heard rumors about the land being vulnerable due to it's proximity to the Lake. I recommend you contact a property inspector. There are several in town.
