Global warming is an issue we all have to face.Cars are a big part of the problem. I hope People will start to take the repair and service of there vehicles much more seriously and stop trying to save a buck at the expense of the Environment. Hello Bob, There is an updated tensioner bracket and A TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) to go along with it. We change the bracket out on most 2000 to 2004 Subaru's when we service the timing belt

Gene, The ignition timing is not adjustable, there is no mechanical timing mark on the Crank shaft pulley only a reference for checking advance. The crank pulley has to come off to put a timing belt
