Please year and model of the vehicle i need all the details I'm a car electronics installer with 22 of experience. I'm very familiar with installations of in-dash head units,factory head units, factory car audio, hands-free phone kits, and security systems if you need any help with your factory stereo, or how to add auxiliary audio or listen to your ipod android in the vehicle I currently have a MECP Master Installation Technician certification. My answers are based on my experience in vehicles and my knowledge of automotive electronics I don't put much emphasis on brand names; you won't often find me putting down a brand or pushing one on dont send me a list of what brands i like better sorry i can not help you with aftermarket or vehicles that are not in the u.s.a also video and security

you can manually eject them but most likely you will destroy the radio doing that remove the top cover one screw on the back, remove the face there are 2 small screws 2mm remove them, in the back side
If the radio loses power it will reset it self and go to ship mode, when power comes back the radio will start from zero with out cd's the problem is that you have some inside and the unit will get stuck

sounds like you have a bad alternator , the regulator is gone bad and now is generating a lot of power, or high voltage anything over 15 can damage the vehicle computer. if you have to drive turn on
that is how it works with the GM delco radios, to get the code you need to read the owner manual and get two set of codes and with that information you call the number and they will give you the code they
