Expertise: Hi! My name is Chanel and I believe I would be able to answer a wide variety of questions concerning teen pregnancy. I had my first child at the age of 16 and was currently a junior in high school. I had two more children after that at the ages of 18 and 20. I can answer questions dealing with everything from the unsure and scary part of not knowing if your pregnant to the actual pregnancy on to birth. I am now only 21 and still young and believe i can relate to younger girls very well. I appeared on the John Walsh show "16 And Pregnant?..I should Have Waited?" Also.

Experience in the area
I am experienced in this area because i had two of my three children when i was a teenager. I finished high school and married the father of my second two children. I believe i am a very positive person when it comes to teen pregnancy because i believe no matter the situation there is a solution to bring out the positive.

I am a mom of 3, 2 of which i had as a teenager. I believe i can find the positive in any uncertain situation:)

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: Teen pregnancy is very hard, yet very rewarding. I would like others to see that not all teens plan for this to happen, but the girls who are experiencing this are out there trying there best!

Something controversial or provocative about this subject I feel that people who judge should take a closer look and see how many wonderful young mothers there are in the world!

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? I hope to show girls that pregnancy is not a mistake, but just a stepping stone to the next part of your life.

What do you like about this subject? I feel teen pregnancy is a highly judged topic, but so many that judge have no idea about it. I like to be able to use my "expertise" in this area to educate people about what teen pregnancy is really like.
