From my personal experience we bike rode through Saguro East. You could do that in the morning and then drive out to West for sunset. Near there is the Sonoran Desert Museum which is a botanical garden

Hi! Sorry but I can only answer part of this question. I do know that driving from Las Vegas you can go to St. George Utah which is a nice stop and interesting in itself. From there you can visit Bryce
