Yeshayahu is talking about the entirety of Bnei Yosrael here, not the Mashah. When read in context we seevery clearly where the switch from the explictit referral to Bnei Yisrael changes to the metaphorical
Its not easy- we don't have scientific evidence, in fact in many cases the Tanakh contradicts science and seemingly does not agree with history. Does this mean that the Torah is wrong? Is science wrong?
