I am more of a polemicist than an apologist. I especially desire to answer questions concerning discipleship/holiness, "gray areas", etc. If all you wish is an argument then I am not your man. Sincere seekers only need e-mail me.

Experience in the area

I have ministered in several states since my conversion in 1975. I participate in many forums and have written two books. I recently changed to Assembly of God, but after 40 years, I can still answer questions about Baptists and doctrinal issues that are common to many sects.

What do you like about this subject?

If I lived to be a thousand years old I would never learn it all and always find something relevant to the age and culture in which I live. Indeed, it is much like reading today's newspapers and journals.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

As all Christians should I hope to grow closer to Christ and receive more of His power to be holy and able to reach lost souls and wounded saints.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Many have tried to destroy the Bible and disprove Christianity but both still remain and shall until His return. Through many persecutions the Jew and the Christian still remain and that in itself is proof that God exists and the Bible is His Word.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Contrary to popular opinion there are absolutes and God's truth is black and white without shades of gray. God is more interested in your personal holiness than He is your prosperity and He needs no gimmicks or fads to accomplish His will.

Ray, I am not a true numismaticist. I am more of an expert on doctrine, but here are some sites that may help you in your quest.  God did give directions or tithes and fines and such, but the exhange medium

2015-10-11 Ordination:

Howdy, Raymond! Ordination is one of those things that varies from group to group. Some give a man a license to preach while he is in school or if he is not planning on being a pastor, but wants to preach

2015-07-16 Men forsaking each other:

Thank you, Brother, for your kind words.  God is always better to me than I deserve!      We often find it hard if we were brought up in a culture where men are to suck it up and keep on moving and to

2015-03-18 Re: the unpardonable sin:

Dear Patricia, from what you relate in this question there is nothing to indicate that you have not done anything that many of God's people have done since the Fall.      Prodigal = restored  Disobeying
