What do you like about this subject?

I have experience on all levels of United Methodist Church organizational and pastoral work. Responsing to questions renews my knowledge level. There is growing curiosity about world religions. I believe that accurate information can combat unfortunate stereotypes and will open dialogue between people of great world religions.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I wish to gather knowledge on what it is that people want to know about the United Methodist Church in particular, Christianity in general, and World Religions. \

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

The basic rules and procedures of the church are entirely revised every four years at a General Conference. The moon and the sun are basic to religion calendars. Each religion deals with these familiar objects in a unique manner - and have done so for thousands of years.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Does it just confuse people to know about religions other than their own? Will people inevitably just argue or is mutual understanding possible?
