What do you like about this subject?  Everything that is learned can help so many people. Restoring their health will add back a tremendous resource of dormant intellectual and physical assets to our nation.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  To get information to physicians, patients and researchers about the actual nature of this illness. To eradicate the misformation that persists about FMS. To expose those with commercial greed who are feeding on the FMS / CFS / RLS population.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  There are 24 verifiable Tender Points, not just 18. It is not a "waste-basket diagnosis". The years of medical history of those with FMS are a clear indication of who has it. There was just not a clear list of symptoms and a known diagnosis before.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Until very recently even many up-to-date medical professionals and educated people thought it was a mental disorder.
