What do you like about this subject?

I've used it myself. I KNOW first hand that aromatherapy, Reiki, and herbs, when used correctly, really IS highly effective. Based on that real world experience, I know natural health works!

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Research to document the effectiveness of subtle energy medicine (like Reiki, etc.) Write books for both health professionals and the general public to introduce them to a rational, truly integrated approach to health care, keeping both both fringe and mainstream approaches in proper perspective.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Modern Scientific medicine is terrible at some things...but great at others. The same is true of Holistic methods. It is important for modern healers to be familiar with both...it is as important to know which approach to take as it is to know which approach to healing to use. It is possible to advance and to use the best of both worlds.
