What do you like about this subject?  Most people find it difficult to navigate through their insurance options, especially in this area where coverage is increasingly complex and the need for the coverage is desperate and increasing as well. It gives me great pleasure to be able to help people who need it the most.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I learn something new every single day. As complex and changing as this field is, I don't forsee any stability in the future.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Many people qualify for a discount on either their prescription drug premium and copay and/or their Medicare premiums, but don't ever apply for it. Some people, especially those who have been recently widowed, will qualify for a program that would cover all of their premiums and copays, enabling them to drop their supplemental insurance coverage, but do not know this is available for them.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  A new program - private fee for service (PFFS) permits those in good health to have relatively good coverage for no premium at all. This program will not generally work well for those with chronic illness as you must ensure that your health care providers will take the coverage - this type of coverage is not a supplement to Medicare - it completely replaces Medicare.
