2009-06-27Adam10101010YesHi Sophia, I would just like to thank you for the advice you have given. Your response were both informative and returned in a timely manner, far from what my doctor was.My neurosurgeon has written a report saying there were other factors that caused my Loss of consciousness so with a little luck I will be in the skies soon. Tahnk you once again
2009-06-15Francis10101010YesThanks Sophia, for sharing your knowledge with me both now and in the past.
2009-06-11Joe10101010YesThanks again. I have follow up with my present neuro on 6/18 and with specialist on 7/1. I will let you know the results, again, thank you.
2009-06-10Pam Post10101010NoSophia was very knowledgeable and gave us avenues to persue. Turns out a sinus infection was partial cause of the headaches. Fluid build up or residual blood from his last epileptic seizure caused the infection. He still is experiencing headaches which seem to be directly correlated to the meds. Has not been back to Dr. to inquire about Depokote as suggested. Waiting for Disability Insurance as he no longer has medical benefits. It is very good to know we have contacts/advocates for those of us struggling with seizures. Thanks for having this forum. - Pam

2009-05-18Dana1041010NoI appreciate the information I received and how quickly I received it. However;there was no clarity with a link between Tourettes and Epilepsy.
2009-05-17amanda1061010NoShe didn't really read my question - response told me to do what I stated had already been done (ie physician sending letter). Polite though and prompt.
2009-04-23Melissa10101010NoThank you for clarifying, and responding so fast! I appreciate your empathy as well as your knowledge.
2009-04-23Melissa10101010Nothanks for the promptness and the reassurance, it's good to get more knowledge about the condition. One thing though, you mentioned baby aspirin as suggested, but did you mean tylenol? Because baby aspirin given to children can cause Reyes' syndrome, which could be deadly. I know because my niece almost died from it.

2009-03-28Mary910510NoI found the response thoughtful and helpful. Of course, a medical issue is too complex to address fully in this format but I appreciated the input.
