| 2008-11-16 | Jean | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | Hello, this is the mother of the grandson from Jean. Just to answer some of the questions you had asked that g-ma didnt know. His reading and math are at a 4th grade level (he is in 6th not 5th), but he is doing 7th grade level for decoding (word searches, etc.) He had had fine motor skill problem since he was in preschool, but when the school did testing they just said he wasnt working to his full potential (being lazy). He has an average IQ, and has average grades, however he does have the slow processing and there again the school just said he doesnt need any help. I have been running in road blocks with the school for almost four years now, well now the road blocks will be gone because for the last couple of years I have been wondering if there was a bigger picture....my son has ADHD,ODD,Bipolar and Asperger and the Dyspraxia......now it all comes together......Thanks for listening......And yes the school was doing this on purpose they didnt want to spend the money that is the way there our in our little town.... Mom of four |
