2009-11-20Katie10101010YesPERFECT! Thank you so much. That's exactly what I needed to know and you said it in a way that I understood :) Thanks a lot!
2009-11-17Waise10101010YesMr. Scott can easily bring a smile to anyone's face if he/she is searching for an answer related to image editing for he has a lot of knowledge in adobe products such as photoshop or indesign. All I can do from several miles away is to thank him for all the efforts he takes in order to reply clearly, politely, and on time.

2009-08-28Ed10101010YesNow that's what I call "genius." Thanks a trillion Scott. You are definitely the "expert Volunteer" of the month!
2009-08-14Chris10101010YesScott was extremely helpful and clear about the complexity of the issue I was having with a project. He also gave me direction to other sources to help with my skills in learning a new complex technique.
2009-08-14premjit10101010NoThanks for your answer. I got your point but it is a bit overkill for my ability in photoshop. Let me start trying it...
2009-08-05Jae10101010NoVery quick response. Very happy with response.
2009-08-04Sophia10101010YesThank you!!!
2009-06-02bob10101010NoThanks, I'll check these out. I have also found I can print the long pictures by saving as a PDF file and printing through Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. In the print dialog box, click "advanced and then select "print as image". I'll check your suggestions out and see what works best/easiest. Thanks, Bob
2009-05-25Katie9101010NoThank you for your input!
2009-05-12Marcelo10101010NoDear Scott, Never mind, problem solved now, I've just increased the DPIs. Thanks again. Marcelo
2009-04-17Sandra Billing10101010YesThank you once again, my friend. My only option was to reset preferences (your suggestion). Functinality has returned to normal. I have no doubt that you will hear from me again soon! regards Sandy
2009-04-07Peter10101010YesThank you again, Scott for your very helpful and quick responses to my initial and followup questions. I have never had a more clear, concise, and (the acid test) successfully executed answer to any question I've asked related to the computer ... and I've asked a lot of questions. This includes an AllExperts answer you gave to someone else which came up when I Googled the same issue. That's what prompted me to come to this site.
2009-03-20Charlotte10101010YesThank you again Scott. Today I tried a whole lot of unplugging, re- plugging and rebooting. The scanner works fine with PS CS4 for reflective pieces but still not with slides. Not wanting to lose another day to unproductivity and frustration I took the slides to the local photo shop (not the application!) Your advice is certainly not wasted as I need to be able to scan slides in an instant. I am still puzzled as to why my earlier Photoshop CS can no longer scan slides. Thanks again Scott, Charlotte
2009-03-19Charlotte10101010YesThank you very much Scott. I have just ordered VueScan having exhausted your other suggestions except for the PDF route because I need high quality TIFFs. Many many thanks, Charlotte
2009-03-01Sandy10101010YesThanks Scott. This information is valuable to me. I really am interested in this field but I only have a limited understanding. I am sure I will have other simple questions for you during my studies (I am an older student and have a very limited computer literacy so it is like learning a foreign language to me at the moment!) Thanks again.
2009-02-14Angie10101010YesThanks Scott - Because I'm a new PS user, I understand most of what you are saying, but it will take a bit to process. I'll play around with Adobe Camera Raw and see if I notice a difference. I haven't printed anything yet, but the images are appearing pixelated on my screen. I would tend to believe that it could be my monitor settings that are causing the problems, but when I view other photographers' work on my PC, their images are appearing more sharp and less pixelated than mine. I've talked to those other photographers and they are shooting in JPEG so I would think my images would be less pixelated, but they are not. Thanks again for the quick response. I will take your advice and report back what I find out. Thanks! Angie
