| 2007-07-20 | Eric Bayne | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | Sorry mate, thanks for getting back so soon. This is the only way it will accept my re-question. I have a vb6 program; I want to change some of the numeric data relatively often, rather than entering the program and playing with the code each time. I want to be able to store all the numeric data in a text file and make my program read a text file. This will save me hunting around my program for the areas numbers that need changing all the time and me making mistakes. Thanks Eric |
| 2007-07-06 | Eric | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | Thank you very very much! Your two pieces of code are working perfectly and have solved a problem I had been wrestling with for over three weeks now. (Pulldown Menus and launching documents from them). Just for the record I added SW_SHOWNORMAL to the line you gave me thus... SHELL sAdobeRdrPath & " " & sFileToOpen, SW_SHOWNORMAL So many thanks again Eric |

| 2007-05-09 | Priya | 9 | 9 | 8 | 10 | No | Hi, Thanks for your response. I am using the shell() command to launch the exe. Should I use a wait or sleep inside the For loop? |
| 2007-05-03 | Sen | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | No | Thank you for your quick reply. I was just expecting such a module. However I still have one small question. I usually retrieve the System's(on which Application will run)LocalHost by using Winsock. This way, I don't need to know the specific Server Name. And the application runs on any PC with a server installed. Should I replace the connection string with Winsock.LocalHost? or may be there is an alternate way ... I continue to ponder. Thanks again for your kind suggestion.Cheers. Sen |
