2009-09-15Tammi Jean810910NoAidan, Thank you for your assistance. I spent a total of about 10 hours trying to fix this problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled Word twice. I uploaded all MS updates again. I took my computer back to a date I knew everything was working; however, that made all my documents disappear so I restored it by the saved file for that day. Somewhere in all of that the problem finally fixed itself. I appreciate your help. I have bookmarked the link you gave me for future reference. TammiJean
2009-09-14Jan10101010YesThank you Aidan Heritage, It turns out I had the problem wrong. Apparently the document was originially created in a different version of Word and something happened when I opened it in Word 2003. The hyperlink text is the correct color if reformat them. I'm sorry I got the problem wrong but thank you for your help and time. It is most apperciated. Kindest regards, jan

2009-09-04Maria10101010YesI am very grateful for the swift and very clear answer solving my problem. Maria
2009-09-02Carol10101010YesThanks, Aidan. I did find a workaround that works: hidden paragraph marks, as explained in this article: http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/RunInSidehead.htm. Your answer was good but would not work in my case because I also wanted the auto numbering to be in the table of contents, and the style for the heading applied to the words I wanted would not pick up the numbering. I do appreciate your response and feel fortunate to have your help online.
2009-08-12tangea10101010NoAidan: Thanks heaps for getting back to me so quickly. Yes, you were right. Apparently the problem--and I'm not quite sure what it was--lay the other end. But it now seems to be sorted. So again, many thanks. Tangea

2009-08-09Christine10101010NoI'd thought that was the problem too and contacted the support desk for the kodak all-in-one printer on friday and they said "if the printer is printing, its not a problem with the printer" which seems like rediculous logic to me. I have another printer that's out of ink so maybe I'll get an ink cartridge and try that one and see how it goes. Thanks for your help and support!
2009-08-09ali10101010NoHello and I wish again that you are doing well nowadays. Thanks again for your very good comments about creating,Setting and all managing for double line border with three equal symbols(===) I completed my documents include texts, pictures and … in MicrosoftWord2007. I have also used many double line borders in bottom of subjects to separate them. Now I decide to delete some of the double line borders that I have created them with the keyboard shortcuts(after typing the three equal symbols ===). It seems that it’s hard to remove the borders only. After cutting or using the BackSpace key, the texts up and down of the border will be removed or after deleting the border the texts will remove too. As your completed and detailed descriptions and good recommends about this option and its setting in Microsoft word , please help me again to delete the borders only if possible. Warm wishes, Ali

2009-08-05Peter8779NoThanks,Aidan - sorry for the delay. I've now got a better idea of which way to go!
