2009-08-09ali10101010NoHello and I wish again that you are doing well nowadays. Thanks again for your very good comments about creating,Setting and all managing for double line border with three equal symbols(===) I completed my documents include texts, pictures and … in MicrosoftWord2007. I have also used many double line borders in bottom of subjects to separate them. Now I decide to delete some of the double line borders that I have created them with the keyboard shortcuts(after typing the three equal symbols ===). It seems that it’s hard to remove the borders only. After cutting or using the BackSpace key, the texts up and down of the border will be removed or after deleting the border the texts will remove too. As your completed and detailed descriptions and good recommends about this option and its setting in Microsoft word , please help me again to delete the borders only if possible. Warm wishes, Ali
2009-08-07Terry10101010YesMahesh was very quit to respond to my question and answered it in what I feel is Laymen terms..I could understand what I was being told. Mahesh did not use computer terms that I could not understand. I am pretty much computer illiterate, so much so that I am in a Fundamentals 1 computer course. Keep up the excellant work Mahesh!!!!!!
2009-06-28JR10101010YesThe Only words I have for this particular Expert would be that he has a God given talent and desire to see others succeed. This type of enthusiasm and drive is not found in your everyday instructor. I can say this because I have been through college and met with but a few professors who genuinely cared for their students. Giving of your time voluntarily with no thought of monetary gain other than that of this seemingly intangible sense of appreciation after seeing others rise to the top of fame and fortune and status in society is the foundations and the making of a true leader. Thanks Mahesh for all you help, JR jrh4u@yahoo.com

2009-06-18Dawn771010NoI actually determined how to do it. I had to go into "Draft" mode of MS Word 2007. Then I viewed the footnotes and there was a dropdown for footnote separator...and from there, I had to delete the spaces.

2009-06-08Jeff96610YesThank you, Mahesh, for your help. A quick suggestion for you. It would have been helpful if you had used the precise commands and menus included in Word. In my case (Word 2008, as noted) it was: 1) Tools/AutoCorrect, 2)"AutoFormat as you Type," 3) uncheck "Borders." (By holding the mouse over "borders," text appeared in the screen below with the explaining, as you did, about how hyphens will change to a border.) Of course, I was able to figure out what you meant. It seems you are familiar with older/newer/different versions of Word, which is useful, but part of the problem is the irrational, unnecessary changes to the user interface that MS insists on making each new edition. But in the end, you did solve my problem, and I really do appreciate it. :-)
