2009-06-07Mark10101010NoKevin: (From Splash to Desktop) Thank you! You are the only individual who seems to have a possible answer to this situation. Don't have time today to try it, but I will this coming week and I will let you know how it resolves itself. Again, thanks! Mark
2009-05-22Mark10101010NoThe first mouse (that wouldn't boot up at all) was PS2 - it was a Tesco Value mouse... The second came with a USB on the end, and a USB -> PS2 adaptor socket... I have tried switching mice when I'm already booted up. The first mouse - it worked the first time, but, every subsequent time, it made the mouse pointer move diagonally down the screen (north east to south west). The second mouse...switching them froze my PC...
2009-05-11allan10101010NoThank you for all your help. I came to the same conclusion about reinstalling from scratch. Microsoft is not much help seeing it said it was installing to the windows folder at the time.
