One of the things you mentioned that hit home with me, is that "finances should be a hobby". What I have, since I was a child is FEAR!! Fear of not being able to understand money or investments. Fear of not knowing enough or making poor decisions. However, education is the key. Your response motivated me to get into it now and start losing that fear that paralizes.
