| 2008-04-14 | Shauna | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | Michael, Thank you for the incredibly quick response. I'm happy to report that you have gauged the issue correctly. I was a gifted student from K-12 and have raised children as a single mother to majority through sheer willpower. I have been in the corporate world and engineering environment for 18 years now. The new VP never had a romantic interest in me (as far as I know) but is modeling himself after the "petty tyrant" who is in charge of the company. The PT enjoys intimidating, bullying and showing you how smart he is while telling you you're not so this is the model of behavior to which my formerly supportive manager has gravitated. Other employees call him miniME because he strives to be more of a PT than the PT is, if you get my drift. I feel much better after hearing from you on this unpleasant situation. I am a female but not an engineer and never claimed to be one, having worked in an administrative capacity within engineering where I've formerly excelled. I've asked people I am working closely with if I am too pushy or dense or ? and all have responded that they resent ..... |
| 2008-04-11 | Dom | 9 | 9 | 9 | 9 | No | Very sensible and logical answer! One could indeed argue that embryos aren't chickens. I like it. However, I would still be curious as what would be the answer from a linguistic point of view. Thank you very much for your answer. |

| 2008-04-02 | Luke | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | Yes | Yes, that was exactly the part I was missing. I listened to it a few times, and couldn't figure out what he said at that moment. Thanks a lot Michael. It was really helpful. Till next time! |
