2008-09-07Steve10101010NoMany thanks. That answers the question perfectly. Steve
2008-05-22Paul10101010YesWednesday, May 21, 2008 Again, I rate this at 125% with an extra 10 points for completeness. Thank you very much for your help and very knowledgeable answer. This is the most excellent response I've ever had for a question. You are a great teacher. Sincerely, Paul Toot
2008-05-21Paul10101010YesWow! A complete answer to my question. Rating 100% (actually 125%) A perfect 10 in all four areas another 10 for Completeness = 50 If 40 = 100%, then 50 must be 125%. Thank you for this complete help and answer to my question. I agree James Grosjean is a brilliant gambler- mathematician. I do have his book "Beyond Counting" but could not find the answer there. I will have to save up my pennies for the second edition I went to Michael Shackleford's site "Wizard of Odds". An excellent site and I appreciate your confirmation of that fact. I did not receive an answer to my question from him. I received this statement: "Thanks for sending the info above, which we just received. Our timeframe for responses is generally: Casino directory submissions -- one month Ask the Wizard -- You probably will not get a response. Thanks for writing!" Very disappointing. Thank you again for a 125% response. Sincerely, Paul Toot
2007-10-05Emma10101010YesVery helpful, Thank-you.
2007-08-24Sandy10101010NoAnswered my question and went beyond to offer more help. What's a rating higher than 10?
2007-08-06George9101010NoThank you for the wake-up call. You're on target. I'll reconsider the semi-pro urge and play it safe by staying put. (By the way, AC has $2 VP machines: Game King, multi-screen)

2007-02-22Cameron10101010YesThank you for all of the uesful information. I am nominating you for volunteer of the month.
2007-01-29James10101010NoThank you for your answer. Wow that was a n excellent answer. I understand the idea now. Basically, whatever the house advantage is will be the MINIMUM the house will win over the long term. Variation decreases over time. In the same way, a batter may go on a hitting streak and bat as much as 700 for a couple of weeks, but you can be sure for the long haul, his average will be no higher than 380 at the most. OK thanks. So much for Crapless Craps. take care jim

2007-01-08Carl10101010NoRobert- Thanks for taking the time to answer. Since your profile included the words "sports betting" and "I can help you select a reputable site, and point you to all of the bonuses that are available to you at these sites"; I presumed that meant ponies as well, as I consider it sports betting. I was just a little surprised at your negativity towards the horses. I know all about the huge takeout, but because of the wealth of information that is available, I think that the takeout is just part of doing business - besides, even though I'm a pretty fair blackjack player, I lose more money playing blackjack than I do at the races.

Expertise

I have considerable expertise in all casino games as well as horse race wagering. My strongest area of knowledge is in Blackjack. VideoPoker questions are also welcome as are the areas of Craps and Baccarat. No sport-betting queries. I was a professional gambler for decades, now semi-retired.

Experience

I am a semi-retired professional gambler with a graduate education. An accomplished "card-counter", I am very much unwelcome in most American casinos and some abroad.
