While awaiting your response I've been doing exactly what you said to try and happy to say within 48 hrs he is saying yes as an answer to questions now without cues. I guess it didn't take long to learn after all. Maybe I just never thought to teach him that, lol. It's hard when you only have 1 and don't know much about teaching little ones or what they should or shouldn't know at certain ages. I have noticed that he seems more talkative than others his age in his playgroup so that puts my mind at ease too. Thanks! |

I know many parents of children with Eczema that are continually told "No it's not that" with little regard to what actually is. I agree that it's not a far stretch to think that Eczema and the speech delay could be related. So thanks again for validating a train of thought that many of us with E kids have had over the years. |
