2009-08-16Nicholas Sherwood10101010NoThank you... Our daughter is drinking fluids regularly now (it was very hot today so I forced it). She had more energy today, but still did not eat. She is complaining about her throat "hurting". We are scheduled for a followup appointment on Tuesday with her regular pediatrician. Thank you for your time and advice.

2008-11-06Natasha1091010Yesthank you doctor. we went to see a pediatrician yesterday. she looked at both of my children and couldn't find much except that yes, they have some sort of cold and my son's breathing is slightly faster but it's normal for 21 month old child. she said that they probably give it to each other that's why it's that long as it might be not just 1 infection. she suggested to wait until xmas (that would be 3 months of coughing!!!)and if they are still coughing then we need to see our GP again...I hope it will go away till then but I doubt I will wait another 2 months to see if it will go or not. thank you very much again for your answer. I never knew about the method you suggested! I might ask you another question in the near future but hopefully I won't need to. all the best, Natasha
2008-10-16Cheryl10101010YesThank you for the prompt response. Peace of mind and affirmation is a big part of the healing process, if you no that these are a normal set of symptoms. Thank you again. Cheryl Jensen

2008-04-24Deanna8101010YesThanks for the info. It is hard to find info about constipation in newborns especially those fed on breastmilk. I appreciate the quick response because I have been getting more worried every day but now I feel better.

2007-11-28Kate10101010NoThank you Doctor, for you prompt reply to my questions regarding my 12 year old son. I found your response clear and helpful. I agree with your suggestions, and will heed the advice. We will follow up with his pediatricion regarding the torsion that occurred. It was difficult at the childrens emergency, as the doctor there said his symptoms, while somewhat in keeping with a torsion, were rather atypical. The ultra sound showed that swelling was present, and that a twisting action likely took place, but had corrected itself. They said it could happen again. We did meet with a urologist two days later, and he examined my son, and felt everything was healthy. He recommended decreased activity for a while, and said the pain should subside in a few days, which it has. But really, nobody knows what happened to him. And my son did NOT sustain any injury during sports, or play. So we will attend to his regular doctor, and make sure all is well. Thank you for the comments around his growth and development. It is likely I am worrying needlessly, like Mothers sometimes do! :) I imagine all systems will be a go in the .....
