2010-08-06KrisMaking a career out101010YesRobert, Thank you for the straightforward answer, and not sugar coating it. Currently I work in the IT field, which pays very well but I find I do not enjoy overly much. I suppose a few more years working in it is better than no job. Great advice for looking into a business degree, I honestly had not even thought about that. Thank you very much for the advice and your time.

2009-09-01Kenmarket info101010YesThanks Robert for a very honest answer - I kind of thought that you might say something like that. The contacts will be useful and we're pressing on as yet without any money being committed so we'll wait and see how it goes. Hopefully we can make somethings work and who knows..... thanks again Ken

2008-07-30Keithplaying in a RPG689NoYou pretty much answered the main problem I have, we pretty much have been doing everything on a piece of paper using pencils. so I will look into getting some sort of terrain together so our GM doesn't have to draw everything up for us.
2008-06-03Danineed a role play101010YesRobert. Thank you so much for your reply. I half expected to hear how difficult it was going to be. I appreciate the resources and contacts you provided. If it gets to the point where we have to call an expert witness, I will keep all of that in mind. Funny thing about Gary. . .orginally, he was my first thought as an expert witness. Unfortunately, days before I wrote him, I became aware of his passing. I'm sure that was a difficult blow to his peers, like you, and to fans of the industry. Thanks again for your brilliant and timely response. I may be able to bring this into court to, at the minimum, show that there is as much grey area about the defintion of "role play" to allow for a shadow of a doubt that the mother in this case, may actually perceive herself to be a vampire. Again, many thanks! Kind Regards, Dani Fox

Expertise

I am one of the West Coast`s most sought after gamemaster/storytellers with 25 years convention experience. I am currently finishing my first RPG (Goreblade: Heavy Metal Roleplaying) to be published at the end of 2008. Send me questions about RPG conventions, various table top traditional RPG games(I play 20+), trends in RPG gaming, help for beginners, concerned parents and those returning to RPG gaming after years of inactivity. Questions regarding the new D&D 4th edition are very welcome.
