2009-11-23RonAccess to original birth101010NoRev Allen, Your timely note is much appreciated. I'll keep plugging away at this. I know that his father even saw me when I was a baby--but my father apparently did not know it at the time. My father was 20 when, in joining the Navy, the government informed him that his father (his adoptive father who probably had not adopted him yet) was not his biological father. It was a bit of a shock to him. I'm pretty sure of the identity of his father--just not absolutely sure. I have identified the parents of his father--and one of the grandparents. And I'm a genealogist, so I'll have little difficulty pursuing the research in Sicilian records. Just wish I knew for sure! Many thanks again, Ron Krupovich
