2008-11-05laura g10101010Yeshi Mr. Martin. Thank you for your response. We are not doing this for boeing, but Northrop has required we upgrade to as9100. I have been looking on google, and other sites, however, I'm confused by the 9102, 9103, etc. Are they part of what we have to implement to get certified as9100? There is not a lot of help out there even to analyze what needs to be done! Thanks for your time... and do you know anywhere online where the standard is documented online? I can only find links to books to buy, but I would think there must be some doc on the standard out there. thanks..... I really do appreciate your assistance.
2008-08-01David8699NoI presume you are referring to MIL-Your Responce was : STD-105. If you read the standard, it will answer your question. However, YOU (or your organization) must specifiy what AQL you wish to use. My question was not realy answered. I was refered to read the standard. Which I already did. What I wanted was a simple expanation of how to use the tables. Just like if someone was teaching me.

2007-08-21Jill10101010YesThank you!! It that was the same logic I was using - for the most part what is being evaluated has only a few dimensions etc of interest, therefore, if one fails it is rare to find a different circumstance as well. It more of ties up Inspector's time & energy testing more samples after the failed rate has been achieved. Sorry about the typo - my fingers type faster than my brain can proof sometimes. :)
