I need to clarify that I did have the hep c virus still in my blood after treatment, but my primary care doctor recommended that since my hep had been stable for quite a longtime, I consider it very low grade chronic. BTW I did talk to an insurance broker here who took my info and told that none of the majopr insurance co. would even consider insuring me. There was one called 'Assurant'. which she said 'might', based on several factors which I don't know. I had thought that I might possibly get coverage under Blue Cross etc, just not being able to make claims for the uninsurable condition, for a period of months, but the broker told me it doesn't work that way. There is a program in TN for uninsurables but the premiums for my age are over 500.00. That may be about what a non HIPAA policy might be, right, at the least? I haven't checked non HIPAA policies yet. The broker also told me if I was ever diagnosed as bi-polar then I was uninsurable as well. I had been told by .....
